Grants
The Foundation will serve the Oregon community with grants to charitable organizations that are classified by the Internal Revenue Service as 501(c)(3) public charities. We will consider grants to organizations that support rescuing abandoned horses, introducing riding to under-privileged children, offering riding therapy to veterans, creating feed-banks, educating the public on the horse’s unique ability to empower, teach and heal, or making so many other vital and valuable contributions to our community. Additionally, the Foundation supports research that will benefit Oregon’s equine owners and businesses.

Scholarships
Education, training and career advancement can be costly endeavors. As horse people, we experience the challenge of funding our passion on a daily basis. Not all individuals can afford to go to veterinary college or get a barn management degree. Many would like to earn additional certifications to further their equine business career. And, we all know very promising equestrian athletes that would love to develop their talents and skills by attending top-notch clinics or programs.
Whatever the riding discipline or career choice, the Foundation believes our community should and can provide financial assistance to those individuals that might otherwise miss a life and career changing opportunity.
The Foundation is new and just starting its fund-raising efforts to provide educational scholarships. We are hopeful to have funds available later this year. If you would like to be notified when we announce the application date for scholarships, please let us know by using the form below. Or, are you ready to DONATE?
